1. Create your CAT character, select the skeleton and export in FBX format
(character in t-pose, do not select the CAT platform, default export settings of FBX plugin, with Y-up orientation
6. Import the downloaded FBX file back into 3dsMax CAT character scene
(File > Import and Select "Add to Scene" in the FBX import plugin. Select take mixamo.com and check the "Fill Timeleine" to update the timeline of your scene. Select Animation > Animation-CAT > Capture Animation form the main menu. Select the imported skeleton as source and your character as target. Automapping should work since the two skeletons have the same bone names. The Capture Animation button will finally transfer the motion to your character.
